Does long-term smoking really cause impotence/erectile dysfunction?

There is definitely a link between impotence (when a guy can’t get an erection) and smoking. Many studies have found that grown men with erectile dysfunction, are more likely to be smokers than non-smokers. This makes sense since nicotine constricts blood vessels and men get erections when there is sufficient blood flow to the penis. If the blood vessels are constricted, then the amount of blood flow to the penis is greatly reduced.
